Commonwealth Games & Show Theme

Commonwealth Group of Nations are what? Those that had essentially once belonged to the British Empire at some point of time. Commonwealth Games is a floor for sports-persons of these nations to show off their skills.
Is it an Olympic? No. It's just ultimately a memoir of British Token of Empire-hood and a celebration of the same.
Do we really need to hold Commonwealth Games or is it still relevant? Yes, it is. Reason: Simple. It's a gateway to organize Olympics tomorrow. So, is the game to really document the ability of sports-persons...their talent and performance or is it just a business affair? Dual effect. This dual thing is however under balanced and more drifted towards business affair and global political control. However, does the Commonwealth Group of Nations ever considered the necessity of this game to be held in order to keep the memoir of the British Empire alive? No, they are smart too. They need to en cash on the business front today.
Fine. Who's going to gain out these games monetarily? Supposed to be the hosting country. That's been the fight for at international forums and global political arena to organize the games at least 8-12 years before actually hosting the games. Justified on the business sense because sport-persons and their records are there for 'history only'. Whose money is invested to organize the games? 'People's Money' of the hosting country. What do 'people' have in return? 'National Pride' for hosting the game. How long? How long are people going to hear these non-sense?
2010 Commonwealth Games are nearly there to begin in New-Delhi. Indian Media has started reporting various scams that has likely to have taken place in organizing the games. Various debates going on at various circles on various forums of media channels. I've just one question. Why blame just 'Suresh Kalmadi & his team'. Who do we feel could have done a better job without 'corruption'? Any domestic cat when left in the wilderness becomes 'wild'.
I'm in pain like any other people. Let's start the lessons of 'Anticorruption' in Schools today so that in 30 years time we have a slightly better generation coming up.

N.B. : 'People' here mean those who are not on internet like me and those who struggle to get their ends meet as well as people like me too who was not asked before deciding to host the games as I've too toil hard to earn my money and would not like to be mis-used by my government.
