Bhopal Tragedy when it happened, I was a kid...just 7-8 years old. I've been hearing my parents reading newspaper and expressing grief over the news published in the newspaper. I remember just this much.
I've at times bothered when grown up regarding the incident and at times felt that it's as good as Hiroshima holocaust. However, my opinion has been as good as BP today portrays in it's website and other portals regarding the GOM incident.
However, as on date when media is covering the incident in details and analysing the detailed facts pertaining to the incident, I ( again dependent on journalist's wisdom and truth) start to believe the truth. I've casted vote just once...in a municipal election 16 years back. I just voted because I obtained the voting rights then. I actually didn't vote as I didn't find the right candidate. After the instance, I didn't find any further opportunity to cast my vote as I've been away from my constituency and honestly, didn't find the urge to do so. I truly didn't find the urge to vote for the 'World's largest democracy'. Today, when I see Arjun Singh (as reported by media) being one of the biggest responsibles for exporting Anderson ( do not however know how many culpable names more are involved), I feel that democracy is being suppressed over individual wisdom and wishes. However, still, 26 years after the incident I came to know from media the involvement of 'people behind scene' and the 'truth' which cannot be proved in court of law because 'laws' prevent the truth. It's also a feeling of understanding of the winning note of 'democracy' in India as media has at least come down in 26 years to highlight the truth which the court could not establish to the fullest potential due to formulation of laws.
It's also been a clearcut understanding developed that 'Imperialism' is still the rule. Whether it being the US which expects the case is not opened up any further to allow them to avoid stronger constraints in the Nuke Deal or it could be within Indian Politics.

Never understood, why Warren Anderson was set free at the first place?? The current verdict is not doing justice either...
